# MARU_BRIDGE2 · STAGE-R1+ · RECEIPT
**2026-08-20 · built by the coordinator session (Fable 5). The builder agent was stopped by the operator mid-build; its last file is preserved as `index_agent_final.html` (evidence); its bloom chain and defensive patterns were ported by hand. Everything below was verified LIVE in the browser pane on the WebGPU backend.**

## What this is
A self-contained, offline, vanilla three.js **r185 WebGPU** replay theater over the real reactive-sim tape (`bythebook_tape.json`, schema maru-tape/2.0, gates-passed). Serve the folder over http (`python -m http.server 8124`) and open `index.html`.

## What is in it (all live-verified 2026-08-20 ~12:56)
- **THE BRIDGE (inside view, default):** procedural interior — dome, deck, floor ring, five console stations, centre seat, alert strips tinted by `alert_state` (C/M source, AUTHORED mapping) — with the battle rendered live onto the **viewscreen via render target** (the portal architecture, R1 form). Auto-cuts to TACTICAL for fork-cone dwells; VIEW button overrides (BRIDGE/TACTICAL/AUTO).
- **THE FUSOR STATION (the point of the whole artifact):** a wide token-grain console under the viewscreen replaying a REAL measured mid-utterance abort — per-token boxes forming ("He / 's / been / alone"), the world-delta landing, the per-token surprisal ribbon, SELF-FALTER 7.03 nats, **ABORT · SILENCE IN 1 ms · MID-WORD "alone" · "the air heard: He's been a—"**, then the re-form typing out. Data: `starship_trace_val1e_s11.json`, loaded and registry-bound (6 rows, source **M(VAL lineage)**), the console permanently plated **"M · VAL LINEAGE · NOT THIS TIMELINE"** per kill-list K-G (an explicit lineage exhibit, never passed off as this tape's arm — this tape has no generative arm yet; F-ABORT-MARU remains the pre-registered next arm). The station runs on its own exhibit clock (disclosed here): it is a looping replay of a foreign-lineage record, not tape-time state.
- **DISPLAYS-IN-3D (operator ruling):** the flat HTML panels are hidden and live only as the **audited source of truth**; every readout renders as glass IN the scene — angled console screens on the bridge, camera-anchored holo-panes in tactical, the shield ring drawn natively. The DOM proxy keeps A21 (registry binding), F-QUIET (45/120 words), and the claim-area budget measurable. The non-diegetic FICTION plate stays visible in DOM per the mandatory-exempt list.
- **WORLD-LAYER BEAUTY:** r185 **BloomNode post chains on BOTH scenes** (tactical + bridge; `POST_TIER: bloom`, tiered fallback to direct render), flattened multi-part hull with prow/ridge/emissive nacelle strips (the earlier silhouette failure is acknowledged and fixed), three-layer starfield (7,800 points), animated boundary-plane dash flow, breathing rails camera (pure function of t), glass-blur UI, vignette, scanlines.
- **THE HONESTY LAYER (intact throughout):** render-verified **22/22**; INTEGRITY GREEN; REGISTRY 83 rows all resolving (incl. the 6 VAL rows); F-DERIVE in-browser recompute of beacon variance and answer-latency spread beside the tape's claims (with the CONST tautology disclosures); the four-losses panel + search verdict; door strip printing its pre-registered null ("THE DOOR CLOSED CONTINUOUSLY"); the seat rail rendered ABSENT with its chip (generative arms unrun); Z_KM ABSENT.

## Known limitations (named, not hidden)
1. The FUSOR station is a **lineage exhibit** — the maru-timeline abort (F-ABORT-MARU, 5 seeds) is the next arm; when it runs, the station binds to this tape's own k:tok stream and the lineage plate comes off.
2. The bridge is R1-grade geometry (no crew — NO BODIES is design law; no portal camera-flythrough yet — that is the R2-bridge committed gate with its 0.3s white-out fallback pre-decided).
3. CHAIR-mode scrub repaints record-state only (performances don't reverse — by law).
4. `index2.html` == `index.html` (the fork that won); `index_agent_final.html` is the stopped agent's last state, kept as evidence.
5. Claim-area % is measured on the hidden DOM proxy of the 3D panes (disclosed; the glass panes mirror it 1:1).

## APPENDIX B - GREENFIELD REBUILD (same day, operator-ordered restart)
**The operator ordered a from-scratch redesign: experience one-pager first (approved as `C:/NEW/MARU_EXPERIENCE_ONEPAGER_v2_2026-08-20.md`), then graphics-first build, no agents, everything by the coordinator's hand.** The R1 build is preserved as `index_r1.html` / `index2.html`; the stopped agent's file as `index_agent_final.html`.

**The new artifact (`index.html` + `app.js` + `world.js` + `bridge.js`):** a self-playing cinematic film over the real tape - act machine with authored rates and freezes, eased camera director, bridge interior (5 stations with live canvas-glass consoles, sensor-feed viewscreen, captain's chair, alert lighting, crossing sweep), space theatre (3-layer starfield, procedural nebulae, rebuilt ship silhouettes, boundary wall, event-driven beams/impacts/shimmer, the shrinking cone), the FORK freeze (ghost-future polylines with terminal bursts + labels, ALL BRANCHES TERMINAL), terminal gutter, the REVEAL (house lights, simulator shell fades in, feed ends, beacon stops), the TWIN room (turn-based watch: "awaiting query - spontaneous outputs: 0 by construction"), the DEBRIEF bay (four-losses pane, Director rules verbatim, integrity pane, door chart + cue ledger), procedural WebAudio (ping/answer/impact/klaxon/cut/re-form, event-driven, user-gesture gated).

**THE FUSOR STATION, corrected per the operator's plagiarism ruling:** the VAL-lineage dialogue is GONE from the face. The station's beat is now MARU-NATIVE ("all decks report ready-" killed at the tape's real first decloak (t=135.0, C/M timing), re-form "belay that - new contact, bearing 047.") and its chip reads **A - DRAMATIZATION - words await F-ABORT-MARU**. When the generative arm runs, real tokens replace the authored words and the label comes off. `starship_trace_val1e_s11.json` remains in the folder as data only - nothing on the face uses it.

**Live verification (browser pane, WebGPU):** boot clean; verify **9/9**; bloom active (`post: bloom`); act machine traversed end-to-end (BRIDGE1 -> CROSSING @108 -> PORTAL -> EXTERIOR -> ABORT @135 -> BATTLE1 -> FORK freeze @183 (11 s wall) -> BATTLE2 -> CUTORDER @213 -> BATTLE3 -> TERMINAL @246.25 -> REVEAL -> TWIN -> DEBRIEF); one sequencing defect (showpiece-fork selection inverted time) caught by probe and fixed with a data-driven pick + monotonicity guard; zero console errors.

**Known limits:** verdict margins remain ABSENT everywhere by design (arms pending); the portal transition uses a flash-cut (pre-priced fallback); pixels reviewed structurally by probes - the operator's eye is the final gate.
